The Punjab government runs the 'Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana' to provide financial assistance to women. The second installment has now been released to the bank accounts of eligible women. If you are from Punjab and a beneficiary of this scheme, the second installment amount would have been released to your bank account as well.
Money Sent to the Accounts of Lakhs of Women
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that this time, ₹1,262.54 crore is being transferred to the bank accounts of 36.87 lakh women.
Funds for Three Months Will Be Received
Crucially, under this scheme, eligible women will receive funds not just for a single month, but for the months of October, November, and December all at once.
Check Your Bank Account
If you are a beneficiary of this scheme, or if there is a woman in your household who receives financial assistance through the 'Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana', please note that the funds are being transferred directly to the beneficiary's bank account.
When the money is deposited, you may receive an SMS on your mobile number. Therefore, beneficiary women should check for messages on the mobile number linked to their bank account. Additionally, updating your passbook will also confirm the deposit of the funds.
How Much Money Will Be Credited to the Account?
According to reports, eligible women will receive the payment for three months in a single installment; this means they will get between ₹3,000 and ₹4,500. Receiving three months' worth of funds at once can provide significant financial support to these women.
