Currently, creators on YouTube Shorts use the old Veo 2 model, which has the facility to generate background or create simple clips with the help of Dream Screen.

YouTube also informed us that Shorts is now being viewed more than 200 billion times every day. In such a situation, the number of short videos made with the help of AI tools is also expected to increase significantly.
