YouTube: YouTube is going to take a big decision, there will be a change in monetization policy..

YouTube has decided to make a big change in its monetization policy. This change will be especially targeted at videos that are made in bulk or look the same again and again. Under the YouTube Partner Program (YPP), such content will now be seriously investigated, and their earnings may be affected. This new policy will come into effect from July 15.
What did YouTube say?
This video platform, owned by Google, has informed about this change on its support page. YouTube said that it will identify and investigate "content created in bulk and repeated". The company says that it has been expecting original and authentic content from creators since the beginning.
YouTube's two main conditions
Do not use others' content directly: If a creator uses someone else's content, it is necessary to change it so much that it looks new. Posting videos by just copying and pasting or lightly editing can now be harmful.
Keep an eye on duplicate content: Videos that are made only to garner views. Videos with clickbait thumbnails, videos made with very little effort, or videos made repeatedly on the same template will now be less likely to be monetized.
AI and automated content are also under scrutiny
Although the company has not said it clearly, it is believed that videos created with the help of AI, such as reacting to someone else's video in an AI-generated voice, may also come under the purview of this new policy.
Eligibility requirements for monetization
At least 1,000 subscribers
4,000 valid public watch hours in the last 12 months or
10 million valid Shorts views in the last 90 days
This move is part of YouTube's campaign in which it wants to promote quality and original content on its platform, while pushing back fake or low-effort videos. The new rule will come into effect from July 15, 2025.
