If you are going to get a new driving license then it will become easier to get a driving license from June 1st. Currently, to get a DL made, one has to visit offices and fill out many forms. After the implementation of the new rule, there will be relief from the long and complicated process of making DL.

To get a driving license, from June 1st, a driving test will have to be given in private driving training centers instead of RTO. Only these training centers will have the right to take tests and give certificates. The process of getting a driving license is also being simplified. You will be informed in advance about the documents required to get licenses for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

This will be the license fee

To issue the license, a fee of Rs 150 will have to be paid along with Form 3. The fee for a learner license test or re-test will be Rs 50. The driving training fee is Rs 300 and the license issuance fee is Rs 200. The fee for issuing an international driving permit has been fixed at Rs 1000 and the fee for adding another vehicle to the permit has been fixed at Rs 500. For renewal of an old driving license, an additional fee of Rs 200 will have to be paid and for applying after the last date, additional fees of Rs 300 and Rs 1000 will have to be paid. To change the information present in the driving license, a fee of Rs 200 will have to be paid.

25 thousand fine for minor driving

There is a provision to impose heavy fines for driving without a license or at high speed. At present, the fine for this is between one to two thousand rupees. Now if a minor is caught driving, action will be taken against the parents and a fine of Rs 25,000 will be levied. The vehicle registration may also be canceled and the minor will become ineligible for a license until he turns 25. RTO Himesh Tiwari says that to simplify many processes including driving license, the rules are being further simplified from June 1.
