However, this process is about to change completely, as the UIDAI will soon introduce a special feature in the Aadhaar App that will allow you to update your mobile number from the comfort of your home. This will eliminate the need to visit an enrollment center.
UIDAI says that a special system will soon be introduced in the Aadhaar App, allowing users to update their mobile number from the comfort of their homes. This feature requires users to first verify their identity through face authentication and an OTP. They will then be given the option to update their number.
