YouTube is rolling out a new and exciting feature for content creators. This AI-powered feature enables users to create full-length videos from any Shorts. It will include two tools.

If you're a content creator, YouTube is about to introduce a very useful feature. According to reports, the company will introduce an AI-powered Remix feature, making it easier to create new videos from Shorts. It's currently being tested with English-language creators. This feature will be placed in the "Remix" menu in Shorts, allowing users to make visual changes by prompting instead of manually editing.

These two tools will be available in the feature

This feature will include two new tools called "Add Object" and "Reimagine." Add Object will allow users to insert AI-generated items into any scene taken from Shorts. YouTube says this feature will work on clips up to 8 seconds long. This will allow creators to add a visual twist to their videos without the help of third-party apps.

The second tool will be Reimagine. It can transform a single frame from a Shorts into an entirely new AI-generated video. To use it, users will receive suggested prompts, and if desired, they can generate a video by writing their own prompts. Users will also have the option to upload two photos for reference. This tool will be useful for creators who want to create new content from a scene in Shorts.

Videos will remain linked to the original Shorts

All videos created using this feature will be linked to the original Shorts, identifying the source creator. If a creator wishes to prevent remixed videos from their Shorts, they can disable the standard remixing option on their content. This feature is currently being tested. If it is successful, it can be rolled out for creators in languages other than English.
