Special Facility for Elderly and Disabled Pensioners

The government has launched a doorstep service for senior citizens above 80 years of age and disabled pensioners. Bank, post office employees, or India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) agents will come to your home and generate your digital life certificate. This will save the elderly the hassle of standing in line, and their pension will be credited to their account on time.

The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has also simplified this process for its pensioners. Now, EPFO ​​members can submit their digital life certificate directly by scanning their face on their mobile phone. This facility is especially useful for those who are unable to leave their homes due to health or age.

How to obtain a life certificate online?

1. To get a life certificate online, download the Aadhaar Face RD App and Jeevan Pramaan App on your mobile.

2. Then, open the Face RD App and scan your face.

3. Now, open the Jeevan Pramaan App again.

4. Enter your Aadhaar number and mobile number here, and verify with an OTP.

5. Now, take a photo of yourself with the camera and submit it.

6. Within a few minutes, you will receive a download link along with your certificate ID and PPO number.
