The state government has decided to relax in age limit in the recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector Civil Police and equivalent in UP Police.
A big news has come out from Uttar Pradesh. The state government has decided to relax in age limit to the candidates in the recruitment to a total of 4,534 posts of Sub Inspector Civil Police and equivalent in UP Police. The state government has decided to give relaxation of 3 years in the age limit, which will be for candidates of all categories. An official order has been issued in this regard. It is also written in the order that it will not be considered as a precedent for any other case in future. In view of the special circumstances under the Uttar Pradesh Public Service (Relaxation in Age Limit for Recruitment) Rules-1992, an order has been issued to give relaxation of 3 years in age limit for candidates of all categories to fill the posts of Sub Inspector Civil Police and equivalent.
The order said, "It has been decided to provide relaxation of 03 years for one time as an exception for all categories in the age limit prescribed for direct recruitment in respect of a total of 4543 vacancies arising on the posts of Sub Inspector, N.P. and equivalent posts from the selection year 2020-2021 to the selection year 2024-2025."
