Previously, the Bihar government transferred 10,000 rupees each to women's bank accounts to encourage them to start their own businesses. So far, 12.1 million women in Bihar have received 10,000 rupees each, which has provided financial assistance to many women and enabled them to start their own businesses.

How many installments have been released?

Three installments of the Women's Employment Scheme, launched in Bihar on August 29th, have been released so far. Initially, 10,000 rupees are being provided under this scheme, but if women continue their business after six months, the government will increase this amount to 2 lakh rupees. The Bihar government has provided this financial assistance to women to start 18 types of businesses. The first installment was deposited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself into the accounts of 75,000 women on September 26th. The second installment was deposited into the accounts of 2.5 million women on October 3rd, and the third installment was deposited into the bank accounts of 2.1 million women on October 6th.

When will the Women's Employment Scheme funds arrive?

The Bihar government had already announced the dates for releasing these installments. Fortunately, the announcement of these dates came before the elections, meaning this will not be considered a violation of election rules. In such a situation, installments will be released every 7 days. After October 17th, the next installment will be released on October 24th and 31st. In November, the first installment will be released on November 7th, followed by November 14th, 21st, and 28th. In December, installments will be sent to women's bank accounts on December 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, which will be the last installment of this year.

Which women will benefit?

In Bihar, women who have filled out the Chief Minister's Women Employment Scheme form and whose application has been accepted will receive the money directly into their accounts.
