For a long time, the women of Delhi have been waiting for the implementation of the Mahila Samridhi Yojana. The government has allocated the budget for the scheme and a committee has been formed. But till now the scheme for women cannot be started. Recently, while talking to ABP News, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta told about this that at present it may take time for the schemes to start.
She said that the government is developing a portal for the scheme. On which all eligible women will be able to get their registration done. She also told that the government is committed to this scheme and it is a very ambitious scheme. The government wants to take special care that no beneficiary should be left out in the scheme. She said that at present it may take a few months.
Only these women will get the benefit
The Delhi government has fixed some eligibility for the Mahila Samridhi Yojana. Only women who fulfill these eligibility will be able to get the benefit. Let us tell you that to apply in the scheme, the age of women should be between 21 years to 60 years. She should have been living in Delhi for at least the last 5 years.
Her family's annual income should not be more than Rs 3 lakh. She should not already be taking financial benefits or pension under any government scheme. She must also have an Aadhaar card and voter card with a Delhi address. According to estimates, 20 to 25 lakh women of Delhi will benefit from this scheme.
