Women Employment Scheme: 4th Installment Date Announced — When Will ₹10,000 Be Credited to Accounts?

Bihar Mahila Rojgar Yojana 2025 Update:
The Bihar government is set to release the fourth installment of the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme (Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana) soon. So far, ₹10,000 each has been credited to the bank accounts of 1.21 crore women across the state to help them start self-employment ventures. However, nearly 19 lakh beneficiaries are still waiting for their share of financial assistance.
According to official sources, the fourth installment of this welfare initiative is scheduled to be transferred on October 17, 2025 (Friday). The amount will be directly deposited into the bank accounts of eligible women beneficiaries under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
₹10,000 Financial Boost for Women Entrepreneurs
The Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana (MMRY) was launched by the Bihar government to empower women through financial support and encourage self-reliance. Under this scheme, women receive ₹10,000 as seed money to start small-scale businesses or self-employment activities.
So far, the government has released payments in three phases:
-
First installment (26 September 2025): Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred funds to 75 lakh women.
-
Second installment (3 October 2025): Chief Minister Nitish Kumar credited ₹10,000 each to the accounts of 25 lakh women via video conferencing.
-
Third installment (6 October 2025): Around 21 lakh women received the benefit directly into their accounts.
In total, ₹12,100 crore has already been transferred to women beneficiaries under this program.
Fourth Installment Coming on October 17
The next payment round is expected on October 17, 2025, which will mark the fourth installment of the scheme. The government has not yet revealed the exact number of beneficiaries for this phase, but officials confirmed that eligible women who completed their verification and documentation will be prioritized.
Currently, more than 1.4 crore women have registered for the scheme, while 1.21 crore have already received the first three installments. This means nearly 19 lakh women are still waiting for the benefit. The upcoming release will likely cover many of them.
Future Payment Schedule
The Bihar government has announced that the fund distribution will continue until December 2025. Payments will be released every Friday under the phased plan. Women who have filled out their MMRY forms but haven’t yet received the funds can expect their amount in one of the upcoming weekly transfers.
The decision to extend the payments ensures that beneficiaries across all districts — especially those facing delays due to document verification or account linking issues — will receive their benefits before the end of the year.
Opportunity for Additional ₹2 Lakh Support
Beyond the initial ₹10,000, the scheme also includes a performance-based incentive. According to the official guidelines, women who successfully manage and grow their small businesses within six months of receiving the first installment may qualify for additional financial support of up to ₹2 lakh.
This higher assistance aims to help women expand their enterprises, generate local employment, and achieve long-term financial stability. The government will assess business progress before sanctioning the extra amount. For instance, women who received the initial installment in September 2025 can apply for the ₹2 lakh grant after March 2026.

Empowering Women Through Self-Reliance
The Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme has emerged as a transformative initiative for economic empowerment in Bihar. By providing direct financial support, the scheme is helping women start small-scale ventures such as tailoring, handicrafts, food processing, and retail.
With over 1.4 crore women registered, the scheme reflects Bihar’s growing commitment to gender-inclusive economic growth. The upcoming October 17 payment marks another milestone in this journey, signaling the state’s effort to ensure that every registered woman receives her due financial aid.
Women waiting for the next ₹10,000 installment can expect the funds soon — as Bihar continues to roll out payments every Friday until December 26, 2025.
