Shift taskbar icons to the left
The centrally placed taskbar icons are one of the major visual overhauls in Windows 11. The Start menu is central by default with apps pinned to the taskbar. In such a situation, if you want the old taskbar to be on the left, then you can change it by following some simple steps.
To change this, users need to go to the 'Personalization' section in the 'Settings' menu, where they can find the 'Taskbar Behaviour' option in the 'Taskbar' segment. Here you have to opt for the 'Left' toggle in the 'Taskbar Alignment' option to push the taskbar icons to the left.
Hide taskbar
Windows 11 users can hide the entire taskbar to increase the screen of real estate. To get back the hidden taskbar, users just have to move their mouse cursor to the edge of the screen. Users can also hide the taskbar on the secondary monitor. To hide the taskbar, you need to go to the 'Personalization' section in the 'Settings' menu.
Go to the lost active window

Suppose you need to open an image downloaded from Google Chrome in Photoshop, you can drag the file from the browser's download page and hover over the Photoshop icon in the taskbar. Doing so will open Photoshop and users can drop images into the app.
Weather update on the taskbar
Windows 11 initially had a 'Widgets' button on the taskbar, placed to the right of the Start button. Now, the Widget button shows the current weather on your taskbar. The taskbar weather icon also provides a summary of other information such as temperature and conditions.
