There was news that the contract teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya, JNV can be regularized, on this today Union Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary has given the answer. Giving information in the Lok Sabha, he told that there is no provision for regularizing contract teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Giving information in response to a written question in the Lok Sabha, the Union Minister said, "Contract teachers having the required qualifications as per KVS and NVS norms are appointed on short-term basis against the sanctioned posts, which are recruited from time to time due to transfer, retirement, leave etc., so that the teaching process is not hampered."
Will not be regularized
He said, "There is no provision to regularize contract teachers in KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya) and JNV (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya), because their appointment is a completely temporary measure to protect the educational interests of the students." In such a situation, it is now clear that the contract teachers teaching in Kendriya Vidyalaya, JNV will not be regularized.
Let us inform you that there are Kendriya Vidyalaya and JNV schools in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and other states. If we talk about Kendriya School, there are a total of 1253 schools in the country. On the other hand, if we talk about JNV schools, their number in the country is 661.
