Will the 22nd installment be released next month? Find out when the Rs. 2000 will be credited to farmers' accounts
PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: There is a lot of anticipation among farmers regarding the 22nd installment of PM Kisan. It is expected that the Rs. 2000 will be released next month. What could the date be? Get the complete update.
With the start of the new year, millions of farmers are eagerly awaiting the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. The Rs. 2000 received every four months is a great relief for many families. This time, the wait is accompanied by an alert, as the government has made some important changes to the rules.
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers receive Rs. 6000 annually. This amount is credited directly to their bank accounts in three equal installments. So far, 21 installments have been released, and millions of farmers have benefited from it. Now, discussions are intensifying regarding the next installment.
According to media reports, the 22nd installment of PM Kisan may be released in February 2026. However, the government has not yet announced an official date. Therefore, farmers are advised to regularly check for updates on the PM Kisan Yojana website and app.
This time, the biggest change is related to the Unique Farmer ID. The government has clearly indicated that e-KYC alone will no longer be sufficient. Farmers who do not have a Farmer ID may have their installment withheld. The aim is to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach only the eligible farmers.
e-KYC is still mandatory. Farmers can complete e-KYC using OTP on the PM Kisan website. Biometric KYC facility is also available at the nearest CSC center. Additionally, the PM Kisan app offers a face authentication option, allowing the process to be completed from a mobile phone.
Sometimes, installments get stuck due to reasons other than e-KYC. Discrepancies in Aadhaar and bank account details, changes in IFSC code, outdated bank KYC, or problems with land records are common reasons. In such cases, it is essential to correct the information immediately.
If a farmer's installment is withheld, they can contact the CSC center, bank, or the agriculture department. The government has also released helpline numbers. To receive the ₹2000 payment on time, ensure your e-KYC is complete, obtain a Farmer ID, and verify your bank and land-related data.
