RBI gave this instruction
Recently changing the rules, the Reserve Bank instructed that by 30 September 2025, 75 percent of the notes in ATMs should be of 100-200 rupees. By 31 March 2026, it will increase to 90 percent. The purpose behind this is to reduce the problem of loose money and customers should not face much trouble. With this, people will not have to worry much about small notes.
