How to find out the Wi-Fi password in a Windows laptop

First of all, go to the Start Menu and open the Control Panel from there.

Go to Network and Sharing Center

Click on Network and Sharing Center in the Control Panel.

Click on Wi-Fi Network

Click on the currently connected Wi-Fi network (it will appear as Active Connection).

Open Wireless Properties

A new pop-up window will open. Click on Wireless Properties in it.

Go to the Security tab.

Select the Security tab in the Wireless Properties window.

Check Show characters

Here you will see the Network Security Key. Below this, there will be a Show characters checkbox.

Ticking this will show your Wi-Fi password.

First, open Keychain Access by searching it using Spotlight Search (Cmd + Space).

Search for Wi-Fi networks.

In Keychain Access, select System and then Passwords in the left sidebar.

Here, search for the name of the Wi-Fi network whose password you want.

Allow to see the password

Double-click on the name of the Wi-Fi network and check the Show Password box in the window that opens.

Now, your macOS will ask for the password. After entering the correct password, your Wi-Fi password will be visible.
