Property Rights: Widows have equal rights over the property of their deceased husband. This includes the right to share in the inheritance and the right to live on the property.

Maintenance Rights: If a widow is unable to maintain herself from her husband's property, then her in-laws are legally bound to provide maintenance.

Inheritance from second husband: A remarried widow has the right to inherit property from her second husband. Additionally, after her death, her children will inherit this property.
