A revolutionary change has knocked in the world of education in the country and its name is APAAR ID, i.e. Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. This is such a digital identity, which every student will now have. Just like earlier there was Aadhar card or PAN card, now every student is being given a unique academic ID, which will keep a digital record of every academic journey from his birth to career. The government is presenting it as “One Nation, One Student ID”. The interesting thing is that this identity will remain with you from school to college, scholarship to award and even if you change the course in between.

Dharmendra Pradhan told the importance of APAAR

In the education conclave of ABP News, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan made people aware of the reason behind the need for APAAR ID and told how it works. The Education Minister said that if a student goes out for a job interview, he takes many files with him. But after APAAR comes, there will be no need for all these, he will be able to access all his documents easily with the help of just one password.

The Education Minister said that APAAR is a by-product of Aadhar card, which fulfills all the needs of the students. Let us tell you that all the data related to the education and award of the students will be safe in the 12-digit ID of APAAR. After this, the Education Minister explained why it is necessary by giving the example of ABHA ID and the initiatives of other ministries.

How does APAAR ID work

Now you must be wondering how will this work? So listen, schools or colleges will register the student through the UDISE portal, and after that a 12-digit digital ID will be created. This ID will be linked to DigiLocker, that is, if any mark sheet, certificate or certificate is lost, then there is no need to worry. Everything will be available with a click of your mobile or laptop. If the student is a minor, then parental consent and linking their DigiLocker account will be necessary and as soon as the process is completed, all your documents will start appearing in the “Issued Documents” section and yes, in the original, government-recognized form.
