Who can get an Ayushman card?
By obtaining an Ayushman card, people receive free treatment from the government. However, there are certain eligibility criteria that must be met to avail of this benefit. Those who are included in the SECC 2011 list or are considered eligible in the National Health Authority's records can avail this card. Additionally, those who work in the unorganized sector, belong to the poor, do not pay taxes, are financially unwell, do not own a home, do not have access to PF, and do not receive ESIC benefits can also obtain this card.
You can also check this by visiting the website mera.pmjay.gov.in. On this portal, click on "Am I eligible?" Enter your mobile number, enter the OTP, and verify. Then, fill in your details, such as your state and district. If your name appears on the list, you are eligible; otherwise, you cannot avail of this facility.
How to get an Ayushman Card?
1. First, you need to visit the government portal beneficiary.nhai.gov.in.
2. Log in using your mobile number and complete the verification process by entering the OTP.
3. After logging in, the beneficiary dashboard will open, where you can search by entering your name, state, district, and Aadhaar number.
4. A list of your family members will then appear. Click on the action button next to their names.
5. Complete the e-KYC process by entering the OTP using your Aadhaar number.
6. If your Aadhaar verification is successful and the matching score is 80%, your Ayushman Card will be approved.
7. Next, click on Capture Photo and upload your photo.
8. Then fill all the information in the new form and submit it.
