The fate of several hundred candidates for 70 assembly seats in Delhi will be decided by crores of voters of Delhi today. After the voting ends today 5 February, the result of these elections will be declared on 8 February.

Who are VIP voters?

Actually, during elections, there are some people or say some voters who are present on constitutional posts. Or those who are busy serving the country. Or those who are well-known faces. Such voters are called VIP voters. If we talk about them, then voters like President, Prime Minister, Chief Minister, Union Minister, MP, MLA, IAS officer, IPS officer, District Panchayat President, former ministers and MLAs, big industrialists, big Bollywood celebrities are included.

Let us tell you that these people are definitely given VIP status by the Election Commission. But they are not given any other special rights. During voting, these people also cast their votes like any normal voter.

Do they get any special treatment?
