The Delhi government has now taken a tough decision to control pollution and banned the entry of some vehicles in Delhi. If these vehicles enter Delhi now. Then not only will they have to pay a fine. But their vehicle can also be seized.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced a new plan on Tuesday. In which the government has taken many big decisions under the Air Pollution Mitigation Plan 2025. In which a decision has also been taken to ban the entry of vehicles that spread pollution.

According to the order of the Delhi government, now only BS-VI, CNG and electric vehicles will be allowed entry in Delhi. That is, vehicles which are before BS-VI will not be able to enter Delhi now.

But let us tell you that this order will be applicable only on commercial vehicles. Cars, bikes, autos and passenger vehicles are exempted, if you live in NCR. And your car is BS-IV, then you do not need to worry.

There is already a ban on 15-year-old petrol and 10-year-old diesel vehicles in Delhi, if any such vehicle is seen, it will be immediately seized. And a fine will be imposed on it. For this, automatic number plate recognition cameras have been installed on all the borders of Delhi.

Let us tell you that this rule will come into effect from November 1, 2025. After that, if any vehicle does not meet the rules. So if caught, a challan of up to Rs 20,000 can be issued. So keep these things in mind.
