Under this scheme, small and marginal farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. This amount is not sent all at once, but in three installments of ₹2,000 each directly to the farmers' bank accounts. This money is very important for farmers. When can the 22nd installment arrive?

So far, 21 installments of this scheme have been released. The 21st installment was credited to farmers' accounts in November 2025. It is expected that the 22nd installment may be released in the last week of February 2026 or early March. However, no official date has been announced by the government yet. In previous years, installments were released at the end of February, so this time too, the money is likely to arrive around the same time.

Which farmers will not receive the money?

The government has made it clear that installment payments may be withheld if certain conditions are not met. These include not completing e-KYC, not creating a Farmer ID, not linking Aadhaar to the bank account, incorrect bank account information, or not updating land records. If any of these are missing, the installment money will not be credited to your account.

How to check if you will receive the money?

1. You can check the status of your installment from the comfort of your home. To do this, first visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

2. Click on Know Your Status or Beneficiary Status.

3. Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or registration number.

4. Enter the captcha and click on Search.

5. After this, your previous installment details, the status of your next installment, and your e-KYC status will be displayed on the screen.
