This new feature of translation in WhatsApp will come with an update under the upcoming Google Play Beta Program. After which the updated version of the platform will be 2.24.15.9. It is said that the messaging app has started rolling out the new feature and it will soon start reaching users.
Talking about other updates related to WhatsApp, recently it has started rolling out another new feature, which is designed to improve the security of the group messaging feature. The platform will now provide better information to users when an unknown user adds them to a group. The service already offers a setting that allows users to prevent unknown people from adding them to a group.
WhatsApp is rolling out a new card for group chats that will be displayed after a user is added to a group who is not in their contacts. This card is shown in the chat window and contains information about the group that will provide context to users about the group. The new context card for group chats will separately have the name of the WhatsApp user who added them to the group.
