Now it has come to light that another special feature is going to be available for the app. WhatsApp is bringing a feature for Mac users under which status can be shared through the desktop as well. The company has released this feature for Mac after bringing such a feature to Android devices. Recently, WhatsApp users were given the feature to share photos, videos, GIFs, text, and voice messages through status updates from any linked mobile device.
It has been released in the latest beta of Mac version 24.11.73, through which status can now be updated from the desktop
WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot in which it can be seen how this feature will work. This feature is currently available to some beta testers and it is expected that it will be introduced to the rest of the users in the coming days.
Apart from this, let us tell you that recently a change has been made in WhatsApp status. Earlier, users could post a 30-second voice message, but now they have been given the facility to put a 1-minute voice message.
Favorite people will be visible separately…
Along with this, WhatsApp has introduced another feature for chat. It has been learned that under the new feature, users will be able to keep their favorite chats in a separate section. After the arrival of this feature, users will get a separate 'Favourite' chat filter in the chat.
This feature is currently in the development stage. According to the report, it is available for those testers who have registered through the Google Play Beta program. Once it comes in beta, these users will be able to see this feature and test it.
