How to mute status on WhatsApp
First of all, you have to open WhatsApp.
Now you have to come to the status of the contact whom you want to mute.
Now you have to click on the three dots on the top right corner.
Here you have to tap on Mute.
Now a pop will appear on the screen, on this you have to tap on Mute.
By doing this, the new status of this contact will not be visible in the recent update.
It is also easy to unmute the muted status on WhatsApp. In the status tab, the Muted folder appears at the end on the right. By tapping on this folder, you have to tap on the status of the contact.
Now you have to click on the three dots on the top right corner. Here, instead of MUTE, the option of Unmute will be visible this time.
