Who can add to the WhatsApp group
With the WhatsApp group privacy setting, the user gets three options: Everyone, My Contacts, and My Contacts Except.
If every time you are becoming a part of a new group knowingly or unknowingly, then this setting is activated on your WhatsApp with the Everyone option.
When to use which option
Keeping your privacy in mind on WhatsApp, you should use only one of the options My Contacts and My Contacts Except..
If you select My Contacts, your contact can become an administrator and make you a part of a new group.
If you select My Contacts Except.. then the people selected by you will not be able to add you to the WhatsApp group.
How to manage WhatsApp Group Privacy Settings
First of all, you have to open WhatsApp.
Now you have to click on three dots on the top right corner.
Now you have to click on Settings.
Now you have to click on Privacy.
Now you have to click on Groups.
Now My Contacts or My Contacts Except.. have to be selected in Who Can Add Mw To Groups.
