WhatsApp is preparing to bring an amazing AI-powered feature for its users. Through this feature, your chatting will become even easier. The name of this new feature is Quick Recap. With its help, users will be able to get a summary of their unread messages. The purpose of this feature is to save users' time and understand long chats quickly.

What is the Quick Recap feature?

In this new feature of WhatsApp, with the help of Meta AI, a short and understandable gist of the unread message in any chat will be presented. This means that now you will not have to scroll through long chats.

Special features of Quick Recap

Quick Recap will be able to extract and give a gist of up to 5 chats simultaneously. This feature will run on the power of Meta AI. User privacy will be completely safe. In this feature, AI will prepare the chat summary in a private way. Messages with Advanced Chat Privacy will not be included in it.

How to use Quick Recap?

When this feature starts, it can be used like this. For this, you will have to select the chats of your choice. Click on the three dots given on the top right side. After this, click on the Quick Recap option. You will see the gist of that chat.

This feature is currently in beta testing.

The Quick Recap feature has been seen only in the beta version of WhatsApp Beta Android v2.25.21.12. But it has not been made available to beta testers yet. It is in the development stage. With the upcoming updates, this feature can be started first for beta users and then for everyone.

WhatsApp's Quick Recap feature can be very beneficial for those who miss many chats daily or get a lot of messages in office groups. This feature will save time and help in understanding the chatting quickly. After this, there will be no compromise on your privacy.
