According to WABetaInfo, a site that keeps an eye on WhatsApp development, the company is currently beta testing this feature, but after the beta testing is completed, a stable update of this feature can be released soon.

Some rules have to be followed.

The username should have at least one letter and the username should not start with [www] or (http://www).

Numbers, underscores, and lowercase letters can be used in usernames.
