Whatsapp privacy settings: Make these secret settings in WhatsApp

In India alone, about 50 crore people use this app. Meta constantly brings new features to its instant messaging app, so that users get a better experience. However, many WhatsApp users are not aware of some features. Through these secret features, users can make their chatting experience even better.

Many users also do personal chats on WhatsApp, which they do not want anyone to read. Last year, the Chat Lock feature was introduced for WhatsApp, in which by making confidential settings you will be able to hide your chats in the app itself and no one will know about it. If you also want that no one should know about your private chats, then you can make these secret settings.

Do these privacy settings

• First of all, go to the profile of the contact whose WhatsApp chat you want to hide.
• After this, scroll down and turn on the Chat Lock option.
• In this way, the conversation between you and that contact gets locked in the app.
• After the chat is locked, the app will have to be unlocked to read the chat between you and that contact.
• After the chat is locked, you will start seeing the Locked Chat option at the top of the app.
• By tapping on this you will be able to see the conversations of your chat-locked contact.
• If you do not want anyone to see the Locked Chats option in the app, then this secret method will make your and your contact's private chats disappear. Only you will be able to read locked chats. If users want, they can make it even more secure.
• For this, follow the steps given above and lock the conversation with the app.
• On the home page of WhatsApp, you will find the option of Locked Chats.
• After tapping on it, you will see three dots on the top right side of the Locked Chats section.
• Tap on these dots and tap on Chat Lock Settings.
• Here you will see the option of Hide Locked Chats. Tap on this option and enable it.
• Below this, a Secret Code option will appear. Create any secret code of your choice.
• After doing this, the option of Locket Chats will not be visible on the home page of the app.

To read locked chats, you will have to enter the same secret code in the search bar of WhatsApp, which you had created in the chat lock settings. As soon as you enter this code, your private contact's chats will be visible here. In this way, you will be able to hide your personal chats safely inside the app.
