How will the new feature work?

What is this 'motion photo'?

Whatever feature of 'motion photo' or 'live photo' is present in your smartphone, this will only be supported on WhatsApp. This feature captures the moments a few seconds before and after clicking the photo in the form of a small video clip. Now you will be able to send not just a photo of someone, but the entire emotion related to that moment through video. How will this new feature work?

When you open your gallery to send a photo to someone on WhatsApp, you will see a new 'play' icon on motion photos. You can select whether you want to send it as a moving picture or as a normal still photo.
