WhatsApp New Update: Online Indicator to Video Call Zoom, These Features Will Transform Your Experience

WhatsApp has rolled out several new features for Android and iOS users, enhancing the way you chat, call, and plan events.
WhatsApp New Update:
In its latest update, WhatsApp has introduced a range of new tools across the Chats, Calls, and Updates tabs. Users can now scan documents, share unique QR codes for their channels, and prioritize group notifications. Let’s dive into all the new features that are set to make WhatsApp even more user-friendly.
New Features for WhatsApp Groups
Several new additions have been made to improve the group chat experience. Now, you’ll be able to see how many members are online in real time right under the group name. This will help users quickly know who’s currently active in the group.
Highlight Important Group Notifications
WhatsApp has introduced a new way to manage group notifications. With the “Highlights” option, users will only receive notifications for mentions, replies, and messages from saved contacts. If you prefer getting alerts for every message, you can stick with the “All” option.
Event Creation Now Made Easier
WhatsApp has added a brand-new event feature. Users can now create events not just in group chats but also in one-on-one conversations. You can RSVP as “Maybe,” add a plus-one guest, and even set an end date and time for longer events. Additionally, any event can be pinned in the chat for easier access.
Big Improvements for WhatsApp Calls
iPhone users can now zoom during a video call simply by pinching the screen — making it easier to get a closer look at yourself or the person you’re talking to.
Moreover, if you’re on a one-on-one call, you can now directly add someone else to the call from the chat thread.
WhatsApp has also boosted video call quality, offering more stable and higher-resolution calls.
New Features in the Updates Tab
WhatsApp’s Updates tab has seen some great improvements too. Channel admins can now record and share short video notes of up to 60 seconds with their followers.
Voice messages on channels will also come with transcripts, allowing users to read them if they prefer.
Plus, each channel can now generate a unique QR code, making it easier to share channels with others.
