There has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder for the month of August; customers will get the cylinder at the same price as last month. Why haven't domestic cylinder prices changed?
State-owned oil companies revise LPG cylinder rates on the first of every month. This time, the companies decided to keep domestic gas cylinder prices unchanged. Consequently, millions of domestic consumers will not face any additional costs for now.
Commercial cylinder becomes cheaper
While domestic cylinder prices remain unchanged, hotels, restaurants, and small business owners have received some relief. Since August 1st, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by more than ₹200. This marks the second consecutive month that commercial cylinders have become cheaper, providing significant relief.
