The Chief Minister’s ‘Work from Home Job Work’ Scheme is an initiative by the Rajasthan government designed to provide employment opportunities to women who, for various reasons, are unable to step out of their homes to work.

Currently, 8,910 work-from-home opportunities are listed on the scheme’s portal, and the online application process has already begun. Recruitment for various types of tasks is being conducted by different organizations and companies. Interested women can apply online based on their qualifications and experience.

What is the ‘Work from Home’ Scheme?

The Chief Minister’s ‘Work from Home Job Work’ Scheme is a Rajasthan government initiative aimed at employing women within their homes. It offers job opportunities to women who are unable to work outside due to various constraints. Administered by the Department of Women and Child Development, the scheme provides women with tasks suited to their qualifications and skills, enabling them to earn an income while working from home.

Which departments and types of work are involved?

Work is being provided to women through various departments and organizations under this scheme. These include School and Higher Education, Information Technology and Communication, Finance, Women Empowerment, Medical and Health, and the Department of Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship. Women will find opportunities in areas such as data entry, typing, documentation, tailoring, digital and online tasks, software design, web design, data analysis, accounting, auditing, counseling, online consultation, transcription, and other skill-based roles. Specific qualification requirements have been set for the different opportunities available.

Who can apply?

The benefits of this scheme are available exclusively to female candidates from Rajasthan. Applicants must be bona fide residents of the state. Educational qualification requirements vary depending on the specific opportunity; while passing the 8th, 10th, or 12th grade is sufficient for many roles, others may require a graduation degree, technical qualifications, or prior experience. Priority may be given to women belonging to certain categories, such as widows, divorcees, persons with disabilities (PwD), victims of violence, and those from economically weaker sections.

Documents Required for Application

When applying online, candidates must upload the following: Jan Aadhaar card, Aadhaar card, mobile number, email ID, educational certificates, proof of residence, income certificate, passport-sized photograph, experience certificate, and other necessary documents. Women belonging to special categories must also submit the relevant certificates.
