PM Kisan Yojana Ekyc: This is a major alert for crores of farmers waiting for the 22nd installment of PM Kisan. If you don't complete the e-KYC process on time, the Rs 2000 due to you may be withheld. Follow this easy method immediately to secure your installment.

PM Kisan Yojana Ekyc: The central government's PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is nothing short of a blessing for crores of farmers in India. Farmers who have already received 21 installments are now looking forward to the next one. However, before the expected payment in February, there's a condition that ignoring could cost you dearly.

Those who don't complete e-KYC will have their installment withheld.

The government has made it clear that e-KYC is mandatory to bring transparency to the scheme and prevent fraud. If your Aadhaar and mobile number don't match in the database, the 22nd installment amount will not be credited to your account. Many farmers lost their installments last time due to this technical error.

How to do e-KYC yourself:

You don't need to go to a cyber cafe; you can complete this process using your smartphone:

  • First, open the official portal pmkisan.gov.in.
  • Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the right side of the homepage.
  • Here you will find the ‘e-KYC’ option; click on it.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP and submit. Once you see the ‘Successfully Submitted’ message on the screen, your process is complete.

When will the next installment of PM Kisan be released?

According to the rules, the PM Kisan Yojana amount is released every 4 months.

PM Modi sent the last installment to approximately 9 crore farmers from Coimbatore on November 19, 2025. The next installment, following a four-month cycle after November, is due in February.  Therefore, it is expected that the next installment of ₹2000 will be credited to farmers' accounts in February 2026. However, the official date is yet to be announced.

Why does the government provide financial assistance of ₹6000?

The main objective of the PM Kisan Yojana is to provide support to economically weaker farmers for their minor farming needs (such as seeds and fertilizers). The government provides a total of ₹6000 in assistance annually, which is disbursed in three equal installments of ₹2000 each, directly into their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
