How to change address online (change address on voter ID card online)
Step 1: Visit the official website of Election Commission of India (https://eci.gov.in)
Step 2: After clicking on Electors on the website, select Update your details in the electoral role.
Step 3: Here you will see Form-8 on the screen, select it.
Step 4: After this, select the option of Shifting of residence/correction of entries in the existing electoral roll/replacement of 5.EPIC/marking of PwD.
Step 5: Now select your State, District, and Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency and go to Next.
Step 6: After this enter Aadhaar number, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 7: Now fill in your new address and upload the documents related to it.
Step 8: After this fill in the declaration and submit it after entering the captcha.
In this way, you will give a request to update the address in Voter ID online. Now the Election Commission will work on it and your address will be updated within a few days.
