ECI Voter ID Card: Taking a major step towards strengthening the fourth pillar of democracy, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has unprecedentedly expedited the delivery process of Elector Photo Identity Cards (EPICs). Now, your Voter ID card will be delivered to your doorstep within just 15 days of enrolment or any update. This new scheme will not only save time but also elevate transparency and convenience to new heights.
Fast and Convenient Delivery
Announced through an official ECI social media post, the initiative introduces a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that will make delivery faster and more convenient. While it previously took months to receive an EPIC, direct delivery will now be ensured at home with the support of the Postal Department. Voters will receive SMS alerts at every stage, allowing them to monitor their application status. Whether it's application submission, verification, or final delivery, information will be instantly delivered to their mobile phones at every step.

Over 40 Apps and Websites Available in One Place
This change is being implemented through the ECINET platform, the ECI's integrated digital initiative. This platform offers over 40 apps and websites, allowing voters to easily access services such as enrollment, updates, tracking, and downloads. For Android and iOS users, the ECINET app is available for free download from the Play Store or App Store. You can also install the app directly by scanning the QR code.
