The Ministry of Railways has granted approval for this extension, providing passengers from various states with an additional rail option for their pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi. Train Timings: Sabarmati to Katra

According to the schedule announced by the Railways, Train No. 19223 (Sabarmati-Jammu Tawi Express) will depart at 10:25 AM and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 6:55 PM the following day.

Return Journey Timings

Train No. 19224 will depart from Katra at 4:50 AM. This provides travelers heading to Vaishno Devi with yet another rail option. Since the number of pilgrims visiting Vaishno Devi increases significantly during Navratri, this additional service will be highly beneficial for travelers. When Will the New Service Begin?

According to the information, the new service commenced from Sabarmati on October 18, while the return service is scheduled to begin on October 20.

3 New Stoppages in the Jammu Region

Notably, the Railways has approved three new stoppages for this train within the Jammu region. These include:

Bari Brahmana
Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan
In other words, the train will now also make stops at these stations.
