The first Vande Bharat Sleeper train of Indian Railways will connect Northeast and East India. This train will run from Guwahati to Howrah station in Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off this historic train. According to railway sources, it may be launched on January 17 or 18, 2026.

Until now, Vande Bharat trains only had chair car facilities, which are considered better for short distances. But with the arrival of the sleeper version, long-distance passengers will get great relief. How much will the fare be?

Traveling in 2AC will cost Rs 3000, while the fare for 1AC is Rs 3600.
