How quickly action is taken

Your complaint is first sent from the control room to the concerned zone and division. If the problem can be solved in the train itself, action is taken immediately. Complaints like changing bedsheets and blankets are usually resolved within minutes. On the other hand, if action is not taken on a complaint within 2 hours, it reaches the Railway Ministry directly. In such a situation, the concerned officer has to answer. This is the reason that the possibility of negligence on the part of the employee is less. For this, the ministry also takes random feedback from the passengers many times.

When are bedsheets and blankets washed

According to the information given by the railways, bedsheets, pillows and towels are washed every time after use. For this, 40 departmental laundries and 25 boat laundries have been set up across the country. However, blankets are washed only once a month. Sometimes, according to the situation, they are washed twice as well.
