The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has issued a crucial notification regarding the Teacher Eligibility Test—specifically, UPTET 2026. After a long period of anticipation, the complete schedule for the examination has now been released, sparking renewed hope among the candidates.

The Commission published the examination advertisement on its official website on March 20, 2026. This examination will be conducted at two levels: the Primary Level (Classes 1 to 5) and the Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8). Consequently, for any candidate aspiring to become a teacher, this constitutes an essential step.

According to the Commission, the online registration and application process will commence on March 27, 2026. Following this, candidates will be able to fill out their application forms within the stipulated timeframe. The deadline for submitting applications and depositing the examination fee has been set for April 26, 2026. The final deadline for making amendments to the application and completing bank-related formalities has been fixed for May 1, 2026.
