UPSSSC Exam: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released its examination calendar for 2026. The Commission has announced the proposed schedule for various recruitment exams, physical efficiency tests, skill tests, typing tests, medical exams, and interviews spanning from August to December 2026. With this calendar, candidates preparing for these recruitments can now plan their studies and exam strategies well in advance.
Which recruitment exams are included?
The Commission's exam calendar outlines the schedule for major recruitment drives across several departments. These include posts such as Health Worker (Female), Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Junior Engineer (Civil), Lekhpal, Pharmacist (Ayurvedic), Forest Guard, Wildlife Guard, Excise Constable, Technical Assistant (Group C), Assistant Accountant and Auditor, Cane Supervisor, and others. 9 August – Technical Assistant Group Mains Exam
23 August 2026 – Combined Subordinate Services (Graduate Level) Mains Exam
From 1 September 2026 – Stenographer Hindi Shorthand and Typing Test (Proposed)
20 September 2026 – Excise Constable Mains and Pharmacist (Ayurvedic) Mains
27 September 2026 – Forest Guard, Wildlife Guard, and Forensic Science Lab Mains Exam
October 2026 – Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026 (Proposed)
22 November 2026 – Platoon Commander, Band Organizer, and Havildar Instructor Mains
29 November 2026 – Cane Supervisor and Muharrir Mains Exam
December 2026 – Junior Assistant Typing Test (Proposed)
20 December 2026 – Assistant Accountant and Auditor, and Vidhan Bhavan Guard/Forest Guard Mains Exam
20 December 2026 – Vidhan Bhavan Guard and Vidhan Bhavan Fireman/Fire Guard Mains Exam
PET, Physical, and Skill Tests Also Included
The calendar includes not only written exams but also schedules for the PET, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, typing test, and medical examination. The Stenographer's Hindi shorthand and typing test is proposed for September, and the Junior Assistant's typing test for December.
Interview Schedule Also Released
UPSSSC has also released a tentative schedule for interviews for various examiner and expert posts. Interviews for posts such as Fitter, Draftsman, Mechanic (Electronic Systems), Mechanic (Diesel Engine), Turner, and Mechanic will be conducted between August and October 2026.
