The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination. Candidates can check their results using the steps outlined below.

The Union Public Service Commission has brought great news for young people aspiring to become officers in the armed forces. The UPSC has released the final results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS-I) 2025 examination. With this result, the wait is over for those candidates who successfully cleared the written exam, SSB interview, and medical test. A total of 535 candidates have been finally declared successful in the merit list released by the commission.

In this year's CDS-I results, both men and women have performed exceptionally well. The successful candidates include 473 men and 62 women. All these candidates have been selected for admission to various courses at the Indian Army's Officers Training Academy (OTA). This selection is for the 123rd Short Service Commission (Men) Course and the 37th Short Service Commission (Women, Non-Technical) Course.

The UPSC has clarified that this result has been prepared after the interviews and medical examinations conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence. After clearing the written examination, candidates were called for the SSB interview, where their personality, leadership qualities, mental fortitude, and teamwork were assessed. Following this, a medical test was conducted to determine if the candidates were physically fit for service in the armed forces.

However, the commission has also stated that the candidature of the selected candidates is currently provisional. This means that all necessary verifications are yet to be completed. The Army Headquarters will verify the candidates' birth certificates, educational qualifications, and other necessary documents. If any discrepancies or errors are found in the documents at any stage, the candidature may be cancelled.
