UPSC CSE Interview Schedule Released, Personality Tests to Begin on December 8th, Read Details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a major update for candidates who have successfully passed the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2025. Students who have successfully passed the Mains exam now face the interview phase, i.e., the personality test. The Commission has released the full interview schedule on its website. Candidates can view their full interview schedule directly by visiting upsc.gov.in.

The Commission has stated that UPSC CSE interviews will begin on December 8th, 2025, and will continue until December 19th, 2025. Candidates will be called for interviews on different days during this period. All information regarding which candidate's interview will take place on which day, time, and venue is available in the official schedule. In addition, e-summon letters required for the interview will also be issued soon. Candidates will be able to download them from the website. The e-summon letters will contain complete details of the interview time, address, and necessary instructions.

649 Candidates Will Receive E-Summon Letters

UPSC stated that e-summon letters for a total of 649 candidates will be made available soon. Candidates will be able to download these letters using their login details. The Commission generally does not accept requests for changes to the interview, such as changing the date or time, but may consider them in certain cases if necessary.

Candidates Will Receive Travel Allowance

UPSC has also announced travel allowances for candidates appearing for the interview. Under this facility, candidates will be provided with a fare equivalent to a second-class (sleeper class) train ticket. This means that candidates can get a refund of the sleeper class train fare from their home city to Delhi. This facility is available only to candidates appearing for the interview.
