Earlier users had to wait for 30 seconds to know whether the payment was completed or not. It has now been reduced to 10 seconds.
Along with this, the time limit for validating addresses (pay and collect) has also been reduced from 15 seconds to 10 seconds.
What is the purpose of the change?
The circular states that the purpose of this change is to make the user experience better. Users' time will also be saved as it will take less time.
You can make payments up to this amount.
Through UPI apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm, you can transact up to Rs 2 lakh in lump sum or installments. After the arrival of the UPI app, making payments has become easier. You no longer need cash for payment.
Today UPI payment service is available to you in every small and big shop. However, with the payment becoming digital, the risk of fraud has also increased. To avoid cyber criminals, you must take caution while making payment through any UPI app.
