How to generate a UPI pin without a debit card: A UPI Pin is required to make payment through payment apps like PhonePe, GPay, and Paytm. Without this, you can neither make a payment nor transfer money to anyone through UPI payment. For your information, let us tell you that the UPI Pin is of four or six digits. For your information, let us tell you that earlier you needed a debit card to create or change your UPI PIN, but now you can change your UPI PIN even without a debit card. For this, you will only need your Aadhaar card. Read below to know the complete process.

The option to change PIN is also available with the Aadhaar card.
Whenever you create or change your UPI PIN, you get two options. One of these is for a debit card, and one is for an Aadhaar card. This means that you can change the PIN through Aadhaar by selecting the option of Aadhaar card. For this, your mobile number should be linked to your Aadhaar card. This facility of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is very useful for those who do not have a debit card.

The same mobile number should be linked to both places.

To change the UPI PIN from an Aadhaar card, your Aadhaar card should be linked to your mobile number. Also, the mobile number which is linked to your Aadhaar, the same number should be linked to your bank account. Only then will you be able to do verification through the Aadhaar card.

Follow these steps for Paytm.

Step 1- After opening Paytm, first of all, click on the profile icon. It will be found at the top on the left side.

Step 2- After this, you have to click on UPI & Payment Settings.

Step 3- Then a list of linked bank accounts will appear in front of you. Click on the bank account for which you want to set or change the PIN.

Step 4- Now, click on Set Pin or Change Pin. As soon as you do this, two options will come in front of you. This will include Use Debit Card or Use Aadhaar Card.

Step 5- You have to click on the Aadhaar card option. Then enter the first six digits of the Aadhaar card.

Step 6- Now click on Proceed. Then enter the OTP received on the number and generate the PIN.

Follow these steps for GPay.

Step 1- Open Google Pay and go to your profile.

Step 2- Then you have to click on the bank account. Now select the account whose PIN you want to change or create.

Step 3- Then click on Set UPI Pin or Change UPI Pin. As soon as you do this, the option of Aadhaar and credit will come in front of you.

Step 4- Here, you also have to enter the first six digits of the Aadhaar card. After that, OTP will come to your number. Enter that OTP and change the PIN.

Step 5- In this way you can generate UPI PIN through Aadhaar without a debit card. This is a very easy and good method.
