This limit is enough for a common user. Many users keep their payments in auto mode. For example, Netflix subscription, SIP money, or electricity-water bills are also put on autopay. According to reports, authorization and debit processing for all autopay services will be possible only during non-peak hours. All this exercise is being done to reduce the load on the network so that UPI payment-related facilities do not crash. NPCI has clearly said that banks and payment apps will have to follow these rules. These changes also include the deactivation of UPI IDs linked to inactive mobile numbers.
