Online applications for this recruitment began on August 12, 2025, and the application process concluded on September 11, 2025. The written examination was held on March 14 and 15, 2026. Subsequently, the written exam result was declared on May 7, 2026. Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (DV/PST) for successful candidates took place on June 15 and 16. Meanwhile, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) was initially postponed but was later conducted on July 1, 2, and 3, 2026. Now, following the completion of the entire process, the board has released the final result.

What was the outcome of the UP Police Sub-Inspector result? According to the final results released by the UPPRPB, a total of 4,543 candidates have been selected. The majority of these—4,242 posts—are for the position of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) for both men and women. Additionally, selections have been made for 135 posts of Platoon Commander (PAC) and 60 posts of Platoon Commander (Special Security Force).
Furthermore, 106 female candidates have been selected as Sub-Inspectors (Civil Police) for the Women's Battalion. All selected candidates have successfully completed every stage of the process, including the written examination, document verification, PST, and PET.
