UGC NET June 2026 E-Certificate Released; Here’s How to Download
The NTA has released the e-certificate for the UGC NET June 2026 exam. Candidates who have qualified for JRF, Assistant Professor, or PhD admission can now download their e-certificates online.
Here is an update for candidates who succeeded in the UGC NET June 2026 exam. The NTA has released the e-certificates. Candidates who have achieved eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor, or PhD admission can now download their e-certificates online.
To do this, candidates must visit the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The e-certificate will specify the category of qualification achieved by the candidate. As this document may be useful for future processes related to admission, research, or recruitment, candidates are advised to download and safely preserve it.
Certificates Issued in 4 Categories
The NTA has issued four types of e-certificates based on candidate qualifications. These categories include JRF only; JRF plus eligibility for Assistant Professor; eligibility for Assistant Professor and PhD admission; and eligibility for PhD admission only. The certificate issued to a candidate will correspond to their qualifying status in the UGC NET exam.
Exam Held in June
The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30, and July 5. Subsequently, a re-examination for the subjects of English, Commerce, and Sociology was held on September 9 and 10. The NTA had previously released the results for 84 subjects on August 28. The results for the remaining three subjects were released on September 17 following the re-examination. The re-examination was necessitated by issues such as errors related to language, translation, and typing, as well as the inclusion of repetitive questions. The re-exam was conducted across 454 centers in 272 cities. A total of 196,491 candidates registered for the exam, while 120,355 candidates actually appeared for it.
How to download the UGC NET e-certificate:
To download the UGC NET e-certificate, candidates should first visit the website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Next, open the link related to the UGC NET June 2026 e-certificate on the website.
Enter the required login details.
After submitting the details, the e-certificate will appear on the screen.
Check your name and qualification category on the certificate.
Finally, download the e-certificate and save it for future reference.
