U-WIN Portal- PM Modi released U WIN Portal for the health sector, know full details

As we all know the Indian government has started various types of schemes for the weak and economically weaker people of the country, one such initiative has been launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's U-WIN app, which means Universal Immunization Program. This innovative platform aims to centralize and streamline vaccination records for children and pregnant women, just like the CoWIN app did during the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Let's know full details about it-
What is the U-WIN Portal?
The U-WIN portal, or Universal Immunization Web-Enabled Network, is designed to improve vaccination coverage across the country. Earlier, vaccination data was fragmented, with manual entries leading to inconsistencies. The U-WIN app solves this problem by centralizing vaccination data, making it easier for the government to track and manage vaccination efforts.
How does the U-WIN portal work?
Registration: Parents can register children up to six years of age and pregnant mothers using a government ID (such as Aadhaar) and their mobile number.
Vaccination tracking: The platform keeps a record of all 25 vaccines required for children and two vaccines for pregnant mothers, creating a comprehensive history of vaccination.
QR-based digital certificates: Users receive QR-based digital certificates linked to their registered mobile numbers.
Self-registration: Parents can self-register their children and choose convenient vaccination centers across the country. The app supports 11 regional languages for wider reach.
