Are you also using Truecaller on your iPhone? If yes, then there is a big update for you. Soon, the company is going to shut down the call recording feature on iPhones. The company introduced this feature for both Android and iOS users about two years ago for the app. Earlier, let us tell you that it was turned off after Google took action on the API designed for accessibility features related to voice calls.

Focus on improving this functionality.

Now the company will leave the call recording feature and focus on improving its anti-spam functionality, which will include features like real-time caller identification through live caller ID and automatic blocking of spam telephone calls.

When is this feature being discontinued?

According to a TechCrunch report, Truecaller's call recording feature may be discontinued on iPhone from September 30. Not only this, but the call recordings already saved in the app will also not be available. The company says that this decision has been taken by the platform to fight spam calls and focus on improving its anti-spam functionality.

Three options are given to users
On its support page, the caller identification platform has given users three options where they can download the saved recordings and store them on their device, share them via email and other messaging apps, or change their storage from Truecaller to iCloud. However, right now, Truecaller is offering a separate button through its dialer on Android from where you can record calls.
